Late Rally by Blitzkrieg Locks Up 5-4 Win
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg topped the Port Royal Disaster, 5-4, in M3L Triple A action at Port Huron Park. The standout performance belonged to Port Huron pitcher and Sylvania, Ohio, native Todd Montgomery. Port Huron reliever Dennis Henry picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Carl McCoy absorbed the loss. With the win, Port Huron goes to 35-55, while the Disaster fall to 53-37.

Ralph Titus was the walk-off hero for Port Huron. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blitzkrieg first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rocking at the end," Montgomery said.
