Port Huron Park was the site of a competitive game between the Port Royal Disaster and Port Huron Blitzkrieg.
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg defeated the Port Royal Disaster, 3-1, in M3L Triple A action at Port Huron Park. Port Huron pitcher Max van Capelleveen had a standout performance. Dennis Henry closed the game out for Port Huron, earning his 1st save.
The Blitzkrieg got a big at-bat from center fielder Ralph McDonald. For the game, McDonald was 2 for 3 with a double. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave Port Huron a 2-1 lead.
McDonald called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
The Blitzkrieg go to 34-54 with the win.
