Monsters Get 4-2 Win Versus Athletic Club KC
|
Richie Lems pitched well, but his team, the Athletic Club KC Reserves, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Monongahela Monsters at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Oliver Haddow, the winner, goes to 2-1. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts over 5.1 innings. With the win, the Monsters improved to 17-18.
Ramón Marino, who is tied for 6th in the PAAA with a .552 slugging percentage, chipped in for Monongahela with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
