The Baton Rouge Brass went home winners at Stark Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Kane Hallworth. Hallworth stifled the Syracuse Starks, enabling Baton Rouge to grab the 6-1 win. Hallworth picked up the win for Baton Rouge, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-4. With the win, Baton Rouge raised its record to 20-14.

The Brass got a big at-bat from right fielder Yuan Mo. For the game, Mo went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Baton Rouge a 2-1 lead.
