John Simpson impressed in the 8-2 Alaskan win over Syracuse. Simpson, who is tied for 2nd in the PAAA in runs scored with 24, was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Driscoll Craft, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. With the win, Alaskan pushed its record to 22-11.

Ricardo López hit a 2-run home run off Harold Hunter in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Humpbacks ahead, 4-2. In addition to the homer, López had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.
