Red Pandas Slap 5-3 Loss on Starks
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas topped the Syracuse Starks, 5-3, in USPL Triple A action at Stark Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Sioux Falls pitcher and Woodbridge, Connecticut, native Michael MacGregor. Sioux Falls is now 14-16, Syracuse 12-18.
Sioux Falls took a 5-3 lead on Lewis N. Clark's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Clark hit in the top of the eighth, left Syracuse pitcher Miguel Bruno visibly frustrated.
Clark expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
