Rocks Win at Port Huron, 2-1

The Rocks faced a stiff challenge from Port Huron pitcher Kensaku Sanu, but persevered to claim a win at Port Huron Park. The final score was 2-1. Sanu went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Plymouth pitcher Tim Chuter got the win. He's now 2-2. Kensaku Sanu was tagged with the loss. Tony Figueroa collected save number 2.
It could have been a different outcome for Plymouth, had it not been for Ricardo Alejo, the former first round draft pick . Alejo contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the third inning to put Plymouth up, 2-1.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Alejo told the Plymouth News.
The win puts the Rocks at 40-28, while the Blitzkrieg drop to 27-41.
