The Port Royal Disaster defeated the Vermont Lake Monsters, 5-2, in 12 innings. Fernando Delgado led the way, going 3-for-6 for Port Royal. Carl McCoy picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-5. John Noble was tagged with the loss. Their 39-24 record puts the Disaster second in the Menard's AAA.

Delgado had a game-changing double in the top of the 12th. On a first pitch forkball from John Noble, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the Disaster a 4-2 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Delgado.

In postgame comments, Delgado said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
