Golden Cranes Lose By a Run at Austin, 3-2
|
Austin Black Mambas starter Carlos Gómez turned in an exceptional performance against the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes at Mamba Park, resulting in a Austin win, 3-2. Austin goes to 23-21, Santa Barbara to 19-25.
Austin took a 2-1 lead on Albert Morgan's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Morgan hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Santa Barbara pitcher Josh Rainey shaking his head.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Austin manager Tony Torres. "It's usually not just one thing."
