Starks Collect 2-1 Win Over Humpbacks
|
Adam Walker pitched a gem to lead Syracuse to victory over the Alaskan Humpbacks, 2-1. The defeat makes Alaskan 9-3.
The Starks relied on second baseman Bob Bray for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"Our team showed some resilience," said Bray.
