Lake Monsters Need Extra Frames to Get Past Thunderbirds
The Vermont Lake Monsters topped the Hamilton Thunderbirds by the score of 4-2, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Andreas Boerboom. Boerboom went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Lake Monsters. The winner was Jorge Santos in relief. His record improves to 1-0.
