Golden Cranes Walk Off with 7-6 Win
Despite a fine performance by shortstop Tak-keung Zha, the Florida Men lost to the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 7-6. Zha was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Edgar Pérez, credited with the win, is now 1-4. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The 11th-place Golden Cranes sport a record of 11-21.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Santa Barbara trailing 6-5, Jeff Roest hit a fastball from Chris Evans to right-center for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Golden Cranes had a walk-off win.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Roest, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
