Sherman Lifts Blitzkrieg to 6-2 Win
Led by Mike Sherman, the Port Huron Blitzkrieg defeated the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 6-2. Sherman was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Blitzkrieg. Port Huron has a record of 11-15, placing them 10th in the Menard's AAA.

The Blitzkrieg got an important contribution from left fielder Ralph McDonald, who in the bottom of the fifth punched a first pitch curveball into left-center for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 6-0.
