Jeremy Campbell was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Hamilton and Vermont. The Thunderbirds right-hander helped his team beat the Lake Monsters, 1-0. The victory puts Hamilton at 9-15.

With runs few and far between, the Thunderbirds had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Hamilton came in the bottom of the third inning, when left fielder Lorenzo Morales delivered a run-scoring single. The single was hit off Raúl Gómez and made the score 1-0, Thunderbirds. Morales went 2-4 with 2 singles.
