Xiao-gang Qing, the 32-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Qing contributed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put Sioux Falls up, 2-0.

"I thought we were prepared," Athletic Club KC manager Félix Jiménez said after the game. "I thought we'd be more competitive out there."
