Golden Cranes Snatch Late Win
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes got a magnificent performance from pitcher Li-zhi Lai, who stifled the Salt Lake City offense en route to a 2-1 Golden Cranes win at Crane Field. Santa Barbara reliever Nathan Jordan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dave Davis took the loss. The triumph makes Santa Barbara 7-14.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Lucas Lerwill went deep for the Golden Cranes. With Santa Barbara trailing 1-0, he drilled a solo home run.

Lai said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
