Men Earn 5-4 Win Versus Blitzkrieg
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg and Florida Men provided some drama for the home crowd.

Florida beat Port Huron at Psychos Ballpark, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to right fielder Román Merced. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win belongs to Tom Doyle in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Shuji Kokawa took the loss for Port Huron.

Shu-yaan Hor hit a run-scoring double off Claudio Aguilar in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Men in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Hor had 2 singles and 1 walk, while going 3 for 4.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Hor told the Florida Bulletin. "You win just by scoring more runs."

The win gives the Men a record of 8-10.
