The Port Huron Blitzkrieg did just enough to sneak past the Florida Men, 4-3, at Psychos Ballpark. Port Huron pitcher Todd Montgomery, in particular, had a standout performance. The save was credited to Darwin McGinnity, his 5th. Port Huron is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 6th win in 16 games.

Port Huron relied on the hitting of Ralph McDonald to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Blitzkrieg on top, 4-2. For the game, McDonald had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Florida manager Carlos Pérez. "But we decided not to take it."
