Lake Monsters Drop Tritons, 5-4

The Vermont Lake Monsters topped the Jersey City Tritons, 5-4, in M3L Triple A action at Monster Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Vermont pitcher John Noble. Jop Abeele finished to wrap up his 3rd save. Vermont is now 9-6.
Richard Ramírez was a prime contributor to the Vermont win. He was 1-3 with a walk. In the bottom of the first with two out, the 25-year old right fielder hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Lake Monsters.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Jersey City manager Darryl Gordon said following the tough loss.
