Behind an impressive start by Wop Letroit, Port Huron beat Plymouth, 4-1. Getting the save was Darwin McGinnity, his 3rd. Port Huron is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 4th win in 13 games.

Port Huron used the bat of Tom Gray to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

In postgame remarks, Letroit said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
