No one was more impactful than Greg Erwin in the 6-4 Hamilton win over Salt Lake City. Erwin was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Picking up the save was Pei Fa, his 1st. The loss makes Salt Lake City 3-5.
Ray Sloan, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a fastball from Will Parker for a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put Hamilton in front, 5-3.
"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Erwin told the Hamilton Observer.
