Lakers Get One-Run Win at Thunder Bay
The Echo Park Lakers defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 2-1, in Menard's Third League action at Great Northern Field. Echo Park pitcher Jason O'Rourke had a standout performance. The 7th-place Lakers now have a win-loss record of 12-13.

Raymond Parsons, the 30-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Parsons contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Echo Park up, 2-0.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Parsons.
