Condor Stick Flamingos with 5-1 Loss
|
The Santa Catalina Condor topped the Las Vegas Flamingos, 5-1, in Menard's Third League action at The Strip. The game was highlighted by the performance of Santa Catalina pitcher Stu Riley. The win puts Santa Catalina at 10-10.
With no one out in the bottom of the fifth, Gilberto Escamilla had a chance to do some damage. Las Vegas was trailing 3-0, but had the bases loaded. Escamilla came to the plate against Stu Riley, and hit into a double play. But it was not enough to complete a Las Vegas comeback.
