Miller Lifts Knights to 7-2 Triumph
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Las Vegas Flamingos and Kingston Township Knights get after it.
No one was more impactful than Steve Miller in the 7-2 Kingston Township win over Las Vegas. Miller, who is tied for 5th in the 3L in home runs with 4, went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Earning his 1st save for Kingston Township was José Trujillo.
Miller had a timely hit for Kingston Township in the bottom of the sixth. With Las Vegas trailing 2-1, he turned a 2-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Kingston Township.
Miller said his team "played with focus."
The Knights, now 13-3, have played inspired baseball.
