Cattlemen Beat Bullets, 5-4
|
Baltimore left fielder Eugene Huggins was sensational. He went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Ft. Worth beat the Bullets, 5-4. Ft. Worth has run its win streak to 5 in a row.
Ft. Worth took a 5-3 lead on Juan Raspaldo's 4th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Raspaldo hit in the top of the seventh, left Baltimore pitcher Carroll Kelly visibly frustrated.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Raspaldo.
