Shredders Fall to Bullets, 5-3

Baltimore Bullets starter Robert Moody was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Hollywood Shredders, 5-3. Thomas Rice, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save. With the win over Hollywood, the Bullets improved to 50-46.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Bullets had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the top of the first, when first baseman Javier Mireles hit a 2-run single. The single came off Ismael Mena and made the score 3-0, Bullets. Mireles went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
Mireles told a Baltimore Citizen reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
