Battery Littleton Gone for Year Friday, August 18th , 2051
The doctors have spoken and Vic Littleton of the MSL Charleston Battery didn't like what he heard. The 16-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Littleton sustained his season-ending injury during the MSL Long Island Lighthouse game yesterday at MSL Long Island Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the MSL Charleston medical staff reported Littleton had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months.
