Sunday, September 22nd , 2052
At the age of 21, Salvador Martínez says he still has a lot to learn about life in M3L Low A.
But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Flint Crush reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2052 M3L Low A Reliever of the Year Award.
"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Bayamón, Puerto Rico native said.
For the season, Martínez had 3 saves in 33 relief appearances, which totaled 46.1. He fanned 51 betters, while walking 10 and put up a record of 4-2 to go with his 1.17 ERA.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 12. Trent Cunningham of the Tijuana Toros finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Rodney Craig of the Ladue Rams finished third.
