No Late-Season Magic Coming: Long Island Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 8th , 2052 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Long Island Ducks. Club manager Mike Simpson said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. This is the 7th time in a row that the Ducks have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2033.Long Island has won the 3L R Championship 2 times in their history. |
