Injury Sidelines Miguel Vera For Year Monday, September 2nd , 2052 Miguel Vera of the Rams just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old Ladue reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Tijuana Toros recently at Ballpark of Wellsville. Vera suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Rams medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 10-11 months. This season in 13 relief appearances Vera has thrown 31 innings and collected 1 save. His won-lost record is 1-1 with a 5.52 ERA. |
