Ellesmere Island's Montoya Top 3A- Batter in August Sunday, September 1st , 2052 At only 21 years of age, Ángel Montoya could very well be having many more months like the last this in his career. That would be great news for fans of the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, as August was one to remember for the center fielder and he has captured the M3L Low A Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .345 with 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Montoya is batting .288 with 20 home runs and 65 RBIs this season. |
