Barnard Tosses No-Hitter Against Tijuana Monday, June 17th , 2052 There was magic on the mound today at Ducks Park as Long Island Ducks starter Vince Barnard no-hit the Tijuana Toros. Barnard held Tijuana hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Ducks to a 6-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Barnard said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Barnard rang up 14 strikeouts and issued 3 walks.
