House No-Hits Redwood
Wednesday, August 21st , 2052
It was a fantastic day for Surprise Shockers starter Don House and a lousy day for the Redwood Rhinos.
The Surprise hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Rhinos, as the Shockers cruised to a 2-0 win. When it was all over, House was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.
"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," House said later.
He rang up 17 strikeouts and allowed no walks while shutting Redwood down at The Zoo.
House has gone 5-2 this season with an ERA of 2.01 and 82 strikeouts in 58.1 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .148 against him.
