Sandoval Wins Best Bat Award in June Monday, July 1st , 2052 Luis Sandoval put together a good June to earn the USSL Low A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to North Ft. Myers officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Gators third baseman posted a .354 batting average with 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 16 runs scored. This season in 43 games, Sandoval has hit at a .321 clip with 51 hits, 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
