Hits Galore: Lander Drills 5 Hits Saturday, June 8th , 2052 Plattsburgh center fielder Robert Lander had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Amarillo Warheads at Plattsburgh Park as the Puffer Fish picked up a 12-9 victory. "He was patient up there today," Plattsburgh skipper Wallace James told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Lander has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Robert Lander singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Patrick Bowman in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 8th.
