League Suspends Jansen and Pope for Fisticuffs Wednesday, May 29th , 2052 After an intense confrontation, both the Music Lars Jansen and the Zoomies John Pope were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Memphis-Shady Side game. Lars Jansen will miss 4 games, while John Pope was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Lars Jansen commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This year Jansen has hit at a .143 clip with 1 RBIs, no home runs and no runs scored.
