The future looks extremely bright for Brian Palmer. At the age of 19, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Low A.

Palmer has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Low A Most Valuable Player Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .321 this year, that's for sure," the shortstop said.

The Fort Knox Centennial star also put up a .453 on-base percentage this year, with 109 hits, 13 doubles, 2 triples, 18 home runs, 50 RBIs and 82 runs scored.

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Gonzalo Zarauza of the Fort Knox Centennial finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while James Cabiles of the Ballard Beavers finished third.
