Hicksville Clinches Wild Card Wednesday, September 4th , 2052 As the clock struck midnight in the Hicksville Hounds clubhouse, the celebration showed no signs of slowing down. The Hounds were certainly ready to celebrate their USPL Low A wild card berth. "It's time to let off a little steam after a grind of a season," said starting pitcher Gabe Turner. "We may act a bit like teenagers tonight celebrating, but we'll be back to being big leaguers tomorrow." With a 56-37 record, Hicksville will be seeking its 2nd USPL Low A championship. |
