Montés Wins PA- Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 5th , 2052 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing José Montés was rewarded with the USPL Low A Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Hudsonville Flanderses second baseman hit .500 while collecting 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs and 4 RBIs. Thus far this season Montés is hitting .267 with 12 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 35 hits in 131 at-bats and has played in 54 games. |
