Merza Takes Home PAA Top Batter Award Tuesday, October 1st , 2052 Armando Merza may be much younger than other hitters in the USPL Double A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old Chesapeake left fielder hit .370 with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and 11 runs scored. His career numbers show Merza is hitting .291 with a total of 25 home runs. |
