Ft. Polk South's Rocha to Miss Season Thursday, August 29th , 2052 The season is finished for Sergio Rocha of the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Thunder Hawks starting pitcher suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Gulf Coast Turbeaus. Team doctors said it would take at least 10-11 months to heal. This year Rocha has worked 63.1 innings with 28 strikeouts en route to a 4-8 record and a 5.26 ERA. |
