Ithaca's Strong Top PAA Batter in July Thursday, August 1st , 2052 When Bill Strong stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the USPL Double A Batter of the Month award. The young Ithaca left fielder posted a .407 batting average with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 21 runs. Strong also worked pitchers for 12 walks to post a .495 on-base percentage. Strong is hitting .276 this season with 12 home runs, 45 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 69 hits in 250 at-bats. |
