Ogres Out of Playoff Race Wednesday, September 4th , 2052 The playoff hopes of the Olympia Ogres have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2052 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the SL AA Championship and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Ogres starting pitcher Javier Dávila. Olympia last appeared in the postseason in 2033. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 18 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Ogres have missed the playoffs 10 times. Olympia has won the SL AA Championship 2 times in their history. |
