Miguel Vargas Wins MVP Trophy Monday, October 7th , 2052 Miguel Vargas took M3L Double A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24. For his spectacular campaign, the Casper Ghosts star has been named the 2052 M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the third baseman. On the season he compiled a .300 batting average to go with a .370 on-base percentage. The native of Three Lakes, Florida also added 31 doubles, 3 triples, 24 home runs, 60 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Thomas Inge of the Minnesota Loons finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Ricardo Alejo of the Northville Eclipse finished third.
