Zagallo Triumphs in Outstanding Pitcher Award Voting Sunday, October 6th , 2052 The Minnesota Loons have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Dionísio Zagallo, this year's M3L Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Zagallo compiled a 14-3 record in 22 starts, tallied 135 strikeouts in 149 innings and recorded a 1.93 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .197 batting average against him. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Salvador López of the Minnesota Loons finished second in voting, while Ieyoshi Hoshiyama of the Arizona Javelina finished third.
