Postseason Bid Ends for Ottawa Saturday, September 14th , 2052 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Ottawa Nationals. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Nationals manager Ismael González said. Ottawa last appeared in the postseason in 2048. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 31 times in their 34 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Nationals have only made the playoffs once. |
