Fur Traders-Rails Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions Monday, September 2nd , 2052 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Ballpark of Tacoma have been suspended for 4 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Eugene LeBlanc of the Tacoma Fur Traders and Ernesto Cabruja of the Richland Rails. In this current campaign LeBlanc is hitting at a .196 clip with 6 home runs and 19 RBIs. Cabruja has earned no saves and a 1-1 mark this season with a 5.16 earned run average in 12 relief appearances. He has worked 22.2 innings, yielded 22 hits, struck out 14 batters and walked 10. |
