Eclipse Shut Out by Morse, 5-0 Saturday, August 3rd , 2052 It wasn't easy but Ethan Morse made it look that way. Morse silenced the Northville Eclipse, 5-0, in a Ottawa Nationals triumph at Old-Timers Park today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Morse said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 3 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." Morse has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 11-1 record with a 1.37 ERA.
