Vargas Caps Great Week Monday, July 15th , 2052 Miguel Vargas is respected by most Casper Ghosts fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the M3L Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .500 average (13-for-26) with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this season in 57 games Vargas is batting .319 with 17 home runs, 38 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 74 hits in 232 at-bats. |
