Lamoncha Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, September 5th , 2052 Felipe Lamoncha, left fielder for the Pennsauken Flyers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 9-4 victory today over the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes at Pennsauken Park today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Santa Barbara manager Doug Green said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Felipe Lamoncha grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. So far this season, Lamoncha has recorded a .414 batting average with 29 hits, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs, 11 runs scored and a .488 OBP. |
